Follow these steps on a computer to convert a Google Maps route into a GPX file. You can then use the GPX file to import into whatever map app you’d prefer that accepts the import of GPX files.
- Create your route in Google Maps
- Get the share link to your Google Maps route
Open the menu > select Share or embed map > Copy the share link
- Go to MapstoGPX.com, paste your share link, and click the Let’s Go button to generate a GPX file of your Google Maps route
