Temporary placement of a member into Nomad status when authorized by the BOD is intended to allow members who cannot meet continuing membership requirements, but who desire to keep their kutte, participate in activities when possible, and continue making dues payments. Nomad status may only be authorized for a combined total of six (6) months. After 6 combined months as a Nomad, the membership must be terminated, or the member must return to his chapter and adhere to regular member participation requirements.
